D art of sharing my recent emotional struggle....

..went home with a broken spirit after the Sun service, instead of an up-lifted one....emotional exhaustion overpowered me...at that very moment, I ALMOST gave up on keeping the word "caring" in my illusory dictionary...never been good at it....But at least i tried...

...my struggle earlier had caused me to "explode" later when i threw tantrum at someone i called "Jer Jer"....felt extremely bad after that....b'coz obviously, I didn't care enough for her...i just turned my back and walked away...Yes, I'm bad!!!..but I'm also TIRED!!!..Thank you LORD for letting me know that i have done wrong..my conscience has also given me the same verdict....

..I found comfort and encouragement because GOD has blessed me with "you" to be my listener on that hi-way..and not forgetting my true fren in Christ....from afar.

...SOMEwhERE OuT THeRe

Somewhere out there
Beneath the pale moonlight
Someone’s thinking of me And loving me tonight

Somewhere out there
Someone’s saying a prayer
That we’ll find one another
In that big somewhere out there
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we’re sleeping underneath the same big sky

Somewhere out there
If love can see us through
Then we’ll be together
Somewhere out there Out where dreams come true
-from "AN AMERICAN TAIL"
**this song which signifies LOVE and HOPE has been my ALL time Fav..and now I wish to label it as "Wo Men De Ger" as it has an implicit meaning, known only to us..Keep searching for that something....someone....in that big somewhere out there

..Think out of the BOX..

..some people can be easily swayed, influenced, convinced, bought, affected by another's destructive opinion in their own decision making process..resulting in much regret and irrepairable damage later...Use your own discerning power....look for yourself....Perceive with your own "glasses"...don't be deceived by one's ulterior motive/hidden agenda...WAKE UP!!!

Majority does not always rule and unanimous vote or consensus could be fatal and wrong...so....please think out of the box!!!.

Hmm...Just wondering...is he (my new collection in the office, as shown in the pic above) too SHY to show his face since he's so dumb-foolish....too proud to admit that he is in fact thinking IN a box????...Huh???? What????? No-lah...look closer...he dropped his pants ma!

D Art of Sharing "NAUGHTY" our darked-nose D.o.G.g.Y.

RECAP : ...Last Christmas had been very special and meaningful....coz it was the day when we met at the church to remember, proclaim and celebrate the BIRTH OF CHRIST....the day of "your" baptism..and the day when "NAUGHTY" found his new master....

Thank you LORD because YOU came to save us.....BLESSED CHRISTMAS 2007.

D Art of Sharing MY "29 DECEMBER 2007"

- from my DEAREST... :o)

- hand-made by my good Sister, Su Ying..

...it was a simple yet contented way of saying goodbye to 2007...i was with some"1" SpeCi@l ....at a quiet place...windy evening...near the seaside...away from the city and crowd...enjoying a "not all tasty" dinner (in a "not so cheap" restaurant with "not so friendly" staff)...over heard a "M@T SaLLeH" who sat next to us teaching his "mixed" son about sooooooo many things in life....saw eagle flying....and stork-like bird diving into the water for fishes...a croc-like log floating on the surface....fishermen arriving on their boats with the "catch" of the day....

Hmmm.....that was my another FIRST....FIRST time driving that far for a meal....not just another meal but MY FIRST BIRTHDAY DINNER with her,....

oh yea....something to excite our senses...we smelt like brine..Eww.

D Art of Sharing : ...Happy and Fruitful 2008!!

..i have never been good when it comes to numbers, calculation etc...i hate Maths, not a scorer myself (erm..nope...i don't hate the figures in bank account....dwindling now tho!!) ...that's why i chose to study "LOH", i guess....

...was having a deep thought the night before i celebrated my last Birthday with a "BIG" number kept bothering me....I almost shed tears thinking about the past..how GOD has blessed me with HIS unfailing LOVE, GRACE and MERCY..it was definitely not an easy journey or task and i would have certainly given up if not for HIS faithfulness and guiding hands in all these years....

..Sudden sense of disbelief swept through my heart or was it just pure "embarrassment" when i saw another frightening "BIG" number appearing (too soon) on the medical registration card when i went for my eyes inspection the other day (..Come on-lah!! i still have another 11 months or more to go b4 celebrating my Birthday this year) It was not right but perhaps....time really flies,..im getting OLD...i mean OLDER.....not necessarily wiser...BUT OLDER with more commitments, deteriorating health (the floaters distracting my vision are the signs of aging...hmmm...should i be happy when i found pimples/acnes on my face these days?? Haha) problems and more problems....

When another year (number) been added into my life...I know I shouldn't be complaining....I SHALL BE THANKFUL....Life has taught me so many things...and of all the things that i have learnt....i chose to TREASURE despite the painful experiences that have been inflicted upon us...I chose to forget and move on....I chose to LOVE again...and hope for the BEST...HAPPY & FRUITFUL 2008!! [oh yea...fyi, im still 21 :O) Ok-lah i admit it..im lying..im ONLY 25! hahahaha]

D art of Sharing : CLEANING OUT

Whew! It was tough, but we got it done. Instead of waiting till Spring, we launched into cleaning out the garage and the attic. It seemed like a good time -- it was the right temperature, we were going to have to put away the Christmas stuff anyway, and all of us were home. Sure, it was a big, dirty, ugly job, but we launched into it.

We've gotten rid of a bunch of junk that we were saving for no apparent reason. Anything that hasn't been used in several years is now gone. We either threw it away or set it aside for a resale shop. No more tripping over it. No more arguing about it. No more letting it clutter up our lives. Our garage and attic are neat, clean, and uncluttered. It's a minor miracle.

Now comes the hard part: cleaning out the junk in my heart and head that I've been saving for no apparent reason! It's one thing to get a new start on a new year, a new day, or a new life, but for it to be really new, we've got to put down the old bags of garbage and junk. As Rich Mullins put it in one of his last songs, it often seems "we can't see what's ahead and we cannot get free of what we've left behind" (from the song "Hard to Get").

But we can get free. We can clean out the clutter. We may not know what's ahead, but we can let ourselves go free from what's behind. It's not easy. We're not like God who can forgive the past and then forget it. In fact, the more we try to forget something, the more we seem to remember it. But we can quick picking it up and looking at it. We can set it aside and make room for new things. We don't have to keep tripping over the same clutter. We can clean it out by giving it up to the Lord -- let him forgive it and take lordship over it. But we must give it up -- stack up the bundles of our past regrets, mistakes, sins, and hurts and give them up. It may mean writing all our regrets down on a sheet of paper and burning them or burying them. Or it may mean mentally jotting them down and visualizing Jesus taking an eraser and removing them completely. But we must give them up for us to get on to something new!

I'm not suggesting we simplistically pretend our mistakes and sins didn't happen. We can't stop consequences from our past from sometimes reappearing. But we can quit picking up the problems and "what iffing" them to death! We can quit going over them again and again in our minds. We can clean them out and if we re-find them, or they re-find us, we can consciously give them up again!

Peter denied the Lord three times in his most needed hour. Paul persecuted Christians before he knew the Lord. Neither could completely escape his past. But they chose to set them aside and not live with them. Instead, they chose to live for the Lord and let him take care of the past. As Paul put it, "Forgetting the past and straining toward what is ahead, I keep trying to reach the goal and get the prize for which God called me through Christ to the life above." (Philippians 3:13-14)

So how about the clutter in your heart? Is there anything you need to clean out and throw out so you can go on to the Lord's future for you? Then clean it out and let him help you start fresh and finish strong!

BLESSED NEW YEAR 2008!!!!

AMAZED

Heard this song over the radio....and fell in love with it since then...I was AMAZED.....I found "you".....i am TRULY AMAZED!!

Every time our eyes meet
This feeling inside me
Is almost more than I can take
Baby when you touch me
I can feel how much you love me
And it just blows me away
I've never been this close to anyone or anything
I can hear your thoughts
I can see your dreams

I don't know how you do what you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I wanna spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby I'm amazed by you

The smell of your skin
The taste of your kiss
The way you whisper in the dark
Your hair all around me
Baby you surround me
You touch every place in my heart
Oh it feels like the first time every time
I wanna spend the whole night in your eyes

I don't know how you do what you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I wanna spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby I'm amazed by you

Every little thing that you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I wanna spend the rest of my life
With you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Oh, every little thing that you do
Baby I'm amazed by you

D Art of Sharing : The Fern and the Bamboo

.....Felt that assistance offered/deeds done/words spoken with good/noble intention might not always be welcomed/beneficial.....b'coz it can either build u or crush u....emotionally.What went wrong? WRONG TIMING!!!!! Observation has shown that things blurted out / done at the heat of the moment (without much thought, of course) would cause us to regret later..with no actual remedy/solution left...So B Careful and watchful.....of what u say or do......not to leave the other person with NO option but to ___________ (feel free to fill in the blank-lah. WARNING : MIS-intrepretation is NOT l.e.g.a.l)
"No relevant (or irrelevant) yet inappropriate remarks/comments at the WRONG TIME, PLS!!!!" On the contrary, the following is something i received from the right person (a pastor from Sarawak) at the RIGHT TIME....

The FERN and the BAMBOO
One day I decided to quit. I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality.
I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
'God', I said. 'Can you give me one good reason not to quit?'
His answer surprised me.
' Look around', He said. ' Do you see the fern and the bamboo ? '
' Yes ', I replied.

' When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them.
I gave them light. I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth.
Its brilliant green covered the floor.
Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.
In the second year the fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In year three, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.
But I would not quit. The same in year four. Then in the fifth year, a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compared to the fern, it was seemingly small and insignificant.
But just six months later, the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.
It had spent the five years growing roots.
Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.
I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle. '

' Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling,
you have actually been growing roots?
I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. '

' Don't compare yourself to others.' He said.
' The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern.
Yet they both make the forest beautiful. '' Your time will come ', God said to me. ' You will rise high. '
' How high should I rise ? ' I asked.
' How high will the bamboo rise ? ' He asked in return.
' As high as it can ? ' I questioned.
' Yes.' He said, ' Give me glory by rising as high as you can. '

I left the forest, realizing that God will never give up on me.
And He will never give up on you too.

Never regret a day in your life.
Good days give you happiness; bad days give you experiences;
both are essential to life.

Shattered

The vase was knocked to the ground and shattered into many pieces. It was so badly broken that I was sure it could not be mended. But that vase was a very special vase and I knew that I didn't want to throw it away but that I had to fix it. I knew that I didn't have the skill to fix it but that perhaps an expert potter did. So I took the pieces to one and asked him if he could put the vase together again.

That vase was my life. I went to the Master Potter and said, "Why have You allowed me to be broken? I cannot be used by You now -- I am like the vase the potter rejected -- no good. Please let me die."

But the Master Potter had other plans. He said to me, "The vase cannot say to the potter -- 'why have you made me this way?'" (1) He said, "It is through your brokenness that I can use you. Now I can take the pieces and remold the vase and make it into what I want it to be."
He showed me that the broken pieces were guilt, shame, unforgiveness, fear of failure, fear of rejection, perfectionism. And He said, "I am going to transform these pieces into acceptance, love, forgiveness, peace, and excellence."

That made me hope again. But I was impatient because I wanted the process to be quick and easy and I wanted to be used by Him now. But I found that the process hurt very badly and sometimes I didn't think that I could bear the pain.

Again the Lord spoke to me and He said, "Be patient, My child. I have plans for you but you must wait for My timing. Right now I want to mend you and fill you so that when the time is right you can share with others that which I have given you. I know how badly you hurt but you must trust Me because 'I will never leave you nor forsake you'. (2) But I will lead you and guide you and if the way is too rough, I will carry you. Your job is just to follow."

To trust and surrender, often so very difficult and yet the only way that the vase can be repaired. "Help me, Lord, to yield my life to You, the Master Potter, so that You can reshape me and remake me into what You would have me to be so that I may be used by You."

D art of sharing 5 reasons how God uses problems to help us

The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you, depending on how you respond to them. Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems
for good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems,
rather than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring.

Here are five ways God wants to use the problems in your life:

1. God uses problems to DIRECT you.
Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving.
Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change..
Is God trying to get your attention?
"Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways." Proverbs 20:30

2. God uses problems to INSPECT you
People are like tea bags
if you want to know what's inside them,
just drop them into hot water!
Has God tested your faith with a problem?
What do problems reveal about you?
"When you have many kinds of troubles,
you should be full of joy,
because you know that these troubles test your faith,
and this will give you patience." James 1:2-3

3. God uses problems to CORRECT you
Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure.
It's likely that as a child, your parents told you not to touch a hot stove.
But you probably learned by being burned.
Sometimes we only learn the value of something..
.... health, money, a relationship ... by losing it.
"It was the best thing that could have happened to me,
for it taught me to pay attention to your laws." Psalm 119:71-72

4. God uses problems to PROTECT you
A problem can be a blessing in disguise
if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious.
Last year a friend was fired
for refusing to do something unethical that his boss
had asked him to do.
His unemployment was a problem,
but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later
when management's actions were eventually discovered.
"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good..." Genesis 50:20

5. God uses problems to PERFECT you
Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders.
God is far more interested in your character than your comfort.
Your relationship with God and your character
are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity
"We can rejoice when we run into problems...
they help us learn to be patient.
And patience develops strength of character in us,
and helps us trust God more each time we use it,
until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady." Romans 5:3-4

Here's the point:

God is at work in your life even when you do not recognize it or understand it.
But it's much easier and profitable when you cooperate with Him.
"Success can be measured not only in achievements, but in lessons learned,
lives touched and moments shared along the way"

LIFE IS AN ECHO. What you send out, you get back.
What you give, you receive.
WHEN YOU BRING OUT THE BEST IN OTHERS,
YOU BRING OUT THE BEST IN YOURSELF.
(as per Frenz' email)

Do You Know Where You're Going To?

Can someone pls tell me where am i heading / going to? Should I proceed further or should i retreat???? Didnt i already ask for confirmation, from GOD??? Perhaps, I was afraid...afraid of the truth. Was the so-called "answer" really "from GOD" ????? i gave up my authority to GOD, or should i say..almost??....yet, Im still leaning on my own understanding?????Can u pls let me hear U..just for once and i'll know what to do.....plss!!!!!......
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to?
Do you know?

Do you get what you're hoping for?
When you look behind you, there's no open doors
What are you hoping for?Do you know?

Once, we were standing still in time
Chasin' the fantasies that filled our minds
You knew how I loved you but my spirit was free
Laughin' at the questions that you once asked of me

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to?
Do you know?

Now, looking back at all we've planned,
We let so many dreams just slip through our hands
Why must we wait so long before we'll see?
How sad the answers to those questions can be

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you?
Where are you going to?
Do you know?

Do you get what you're hoping for?
When you look behind you, there's no open doors
What are you hoping for?
Do you know?

WHY ME LORD????

The Lord is a God who never fails, but so many a times I sit and ask the Lord why me. And do you want to know why, because when I look around in the world today so many young persons are not serving Christ. They are having a nice life, but me I am trying to worship God who reigns forever and mine life does not seems to be enjoyable.
Sometimes I sit and ask myself why can't I stop serving the lord and go to the worldly pleasures, but then I realize how much suffering he went through just to save a sinner like me I just have t give him all honor and glory.
Sometimes life-road seems so tough and rough , it seems like I cannot go on forever I ask myself WHY ME LORD. But I come to a place where I stop asking the lord that question because he has done so much for me I cannot even stop speaking, I just have to ask the lord WHY NOT ME.
And as I grow more in faith I come to realize those young persons are not enjoying life they are pretending to enjoy life the only real and I mean real enjoyable life you can get is found in the lord Jesus. No matter what people may say there is no regret in serving the Lord as your personal SAVIOR and FRIEND.
