D Art of Sharing : A Contemporary Gospel Song....

My All-In-All
Words & Music by Lawrence Keith Holder

When there is no peace, You are my Peace.
When there seems no hope, You are my Hope.
When the sun won't shine, You are my Light.
When I was lost, You gave me sight,And now I can see, my Lord, that You areMy All-In-All.

When the world says "take", You teach me to give.
When my strength is gone, You help me to live.
Tho' the mountains fall into the sea,You are the One sustaining me,
And day by day, I find that You areMy All-In-All.

And You hold me in Your Hand with a love, That will never let go...
Tho' the world around me should change, There is one thing I know...

When there is no peace, You are my Peace.
When there seems no hope, You are my Hope.
When the sun won't shine, You are my Light.
When I was lost, You gave me sight,
And now I can see, my Lord,
that You are My All-In-All.

You're my All-In-All!

-I found this song many years ago while looking for "new" Christian songs (on the net) to be used for our English Adult Sunday School P n W session at my prev. church and since then, the soothing melody and its lyrics have secured a place in my heart. Whenever we heard about tragedies, accidents, wars, epidemics, diseases, political turmoils, natural disasters, we get terrified...but remember the LORD is our P.E.A.C.E.

D Art of Sharing: The Story of The King and His 4 Wives

Once upon a time there was a rich King who had four wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but thebest. He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she> >would leave him for another. He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times. The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her!One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, "I now have four wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone." Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" No way!", replied the 4th wife, and she walked away without another word. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart. The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" No!", replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to remarry!" His heart sank and turned cold. He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!", replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave." Her answer struck him like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated. Then a voice called out: "I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go." The King looked up, and there was his first wife. She was very skinny as she suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!" In truth, we all have 4 wives in our lives: Our 4th wife is our body.No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die.Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others. Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave. And our 1st wife is our Soul. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world. However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go. Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of us that will follow us , when the world pushes you to your knees, you're in the perfect position to pray.

D Art of Sharing the Thought for 2day

Before we offer our assistance to "those in need", we must first ask this question : "Am I doing him/her any good by lending a helping hand?" Otherwise, we might end up "hurting" that person more rather than helping him/her. Inevitably, some people might also start questioning the rationale of our "foolish action(s)" regardless of how noble our initial motive(s) or intention(s) were. Constructive thinking to build but with destructive result/outcome????

D Art of Sharing A Student’s Prayer

I ask You for Your help, Lord,
So that I will always know
How to be a better student
And to make
my knowledge grow.

Please give me understanding
So that I will clearly see
Which lessons are important,
And reveal the truth to me.

May I have the time to study
And improve my memory,
So I won’t forget the answers
No matter what the test may be.

Let me always keep on learning,
Even when the class is done;
May I use my knowledge wisely,
So it works for everyone.
~ Jill Wolf

N/b: well, the above is borrowed from a bookmark (dated 1/4/2000) which i received from a very good fren, Sis Wan Loo in Singapore when i was about to sit for a VERY important exam...and i will never forget the "pain" that I've gone thru during that time.Hmm..but it's OVER now. Sis Wan Loo also wrote the following : "Pray that whatever u learn, learn for HIM...Never give up...HE cares...."
Thanks N may all "Glory" be unto our LORD JESUS!!!!

- I believe some of U have got ur exam results...N' what can I say?..Definitely, Some with good grades while the other not so good-lah. I was a student myself and all i wana say is that: NEVER GIVE UP and LEAN on HIS grace as U face another chapter of challenges in your life. It's NOT easy at all!!! My frenz in HK always reminded me that "We Just need to do our best, N' God will do the rest!" For "those of U" who are thinking of continuing ur studies...."GO confidently in the direction of your dreams"....(Hmm...u know who u r, rite?)?)

D Art of Sharing : the Essence of our "J"-CG

The LORD Is My Shepherd

Psalm 23 ~ The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

~our "J-CG" leader Sis J-olyn has again led n' asked us to ponder on this Bible verse. during our meeting at Sis Anna's house on 17 March 2006

D Art of Sharing : the story of Meow-meow N' "RAT"??

Well, i had an "unpleasant experience/encounter" with my so-called Lady B0$$ 2day and that made me upset and disturbed. Hmmm.. i just dislike the popular saying that Bo$$ is always RIGHT (why not LEFT?? hehehe...) They can defy anything bc of the "$$" sign? Please share your experience with me (on how u handle them) as the "earthly Bo$$(es)" really make me "sakit" unlike our BOSS up there.May the LORD grant us w.i.s.d.o.m.

Meow-meow : Listen, im the Bo$$y Cat! U will do whatever i tell U...and now stand up straight n' repeat after me...Im a "rat"!!!
Squirrel : a rat?? I am? Ohh yes sure Boss..i mean Bo$$y cat...Im a....RAT! Im a....RAT!

D Art of Sharing via Inspirational SMS

Received this message/ reply from Sis Jolyn when i sent out "S-O-S sms" to all prayer warriors last year. Already shared it with some of my colleagues/frenz b4 and thought of sharing it with u all here:-
~Bro ralphie

Life is like a piano - White keys = happy, Black keys = Sadness, BUT as U go through life's journey, remember that Black keys make MUSIC too. So, stay JOYFUL, always!

D Art of Sharing thru' HanG-ing ON 2get-her!

Remember KMYF-Sisters' Nite 2005? This pic was displayed/shown during the slide show. Needless to say, it actually caught my attention while i was browsing thru' the net to search for suitable materials. It reminds me of how we should all "HANG OUT" and "HANG ON" 2gether in the midst of trials. However, we don't just pretend as if we are "ALL in ONE" or portraying an united front for a show, bcoz our action(s) and/or speech(es) are always under scrutiny by the ONE who created us AND yea, don't u think that the puppies in this pic look rather SAD (guess, not bcoz of being forced to dress up like ahemm, BABies wearing napkins/diapers? Eww) bcoz they are being "PUT UP" against their will in a "hypocritical" way. Do they really look that cute??? Think again!! Funny?,.. mayb. Hence, let us not be a laughing-stock to the non-believers bcoz of our lousy acting! LORD, have mercy on us.

D Art of Sharing our Burdens thru' PRAYERS!!

One of the many privileges of being a CHRIST-ian is that we get to pray for others whom we don't really know AND at the same time having the support from others through their unceasing prayers. Pray 4 others and others shall PRAY for U too!!

D art of Sharing : "I said a PRAYER for U"

I said a PRAYER for you 2day
I said a prayer for you today
and knew GOD must have heard;
I felt the answer in my heart
Although HE spoke not a word.
I didn't ask for wealth or fame
(i knew you wouldn't mind);
I asked for priceless treasure rare
of a more lasting kind.
I prayed that He'd be near to you
At the start of each new day.
to grant you health and blessings fair,
and friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you
in all things great and small,
But that you'd know HIS loving care
I prayed the most of all
